Default Key Fobs Immobilising Car

Hi - if the car is running and one of us leaves the car with the key, the other person cannot start the car with the second key. The car just locks up. And says smart key is deactivated. Anyone else have this issue ? The only way to overcome it is for the first key to come back, unlock and lock the car and then we’re good to go.

This is by design sonthat if you leave a key in the car , it gets deactivated when another key locks it. Yes, you just have to unlock the vehicle with the key it was locked with to activate it again.
