Interesting. I have a May 5, 2021 build date 2022 110 SE P400, and I’ve never noticed anything amiss with the fob, either in my pocket or on the rare occasions where I’ve pulled it out because I was 20 feet from the truck and realized I forgot to lock it with the door-handle button, so I used the remote. Always works perfectly in either case.

Are the problem trucks 2020/2021 models? Anybody with a post-April 2021 build date having this problem?

My 2022 that was built in July has it. I keep my key fob in my left pocket and often have to turn my left hip towards the door to get it to unlock. A few times I had to use the button on the fob (which always works), especially for the rear door.

Wow, I wonder what’s causing the difference, then. I keep my key in right pocket, but it works just fine when I’m pushing either the pax or drivers door buttons (which means my right pocket might be close to the car or far from it), and always works perfectly with pulling the rear hatch handle also. In fact, I don’t believe there’s every been one instance of a failed attempt to open any door by any method for me. It must be incredibly frustrating to have it fail intermittently.

JLR Technical Bulletin JLRTB02076NAS1 (June 2021) addresses this problem.

Yulong White will stand out for its scarcity. And I’m sure those who chose those colors love theirs, but color choice is a personal decision, let’s leave it at that. Thanks.
I actually can't help you too much here since after receiving it i had it wrapped in a Matte XPEL PPF. I did buy the yulong since it was more of a pearl white and beneath the satin PPF you can still see the pearl.. it's got a very cool effect.

Here's the two shots i got before I had the truck wrapped

BidDanSRQ, I have a white/black 110SE X Dynamic with Rotiform Wheels. I'm surprised they would schedule an appointment to repair yours since I was told all of the parts aren't at the dealership yet so please let me know if they do the fix Tuesday. What color is your Defender?
