Hahaha can’t be doom and gloom otherwise share prices would plummet, which is their real customer

Hmmm...
"The company believes that the chip crisis should ease by the second half of 2022...."
"Believes" ? Why and how ? Are they building a new factory outside of China / Taiwan ?
Or is that well oiled crystal ball...
I want to believe that too. I really do. But, show me the money.

So, the Silicon Valley guys saw over the horizon well enough for >20 years to make billions in promised share value ... and to make the work-from-home dream a reality during the pandemic.

But, they did not bother to spend their billions to do the menial planning and investment to be ready for what happens once their customers go ahead and build their lives around their products. Plenty of Apps -- but without sufficient chips nor hardware.

Henry Ford would find this situation fascinating, I suspect.

….an ongoing issue is that EV’s take approximately two and a half times as many chips as a regular ICE, so this is adding to the shortage 🙈

Has anyone else been contacted by their dealership offering buybacks? I'm curious what they may be offering to get lightly used trucks back so they can resell at the inflated prices (due to limited availability).

I was offered MSRP for mine ( 7 mo old and 2500 miles). So ... I told them, I pass.
And to buy ... what ? the same at a more expensive price ? oh and wait, and wait, and ...
