Default Lazerlamps - has anyone tried this?

Pretty good looking kit for the Defender with alleged plug and play wiring.

https://www.lazerlamps.com/land-rove...on-kit-g2.html

seems well thought out. Wondering how the canbus integration works.

Grille Kit looks really clean. Almost like a factory option.

According to the video posted on their website, the Defender has an identifiable 12v power lead feeding the high beams (which would trigger the supplied relay to fire up the Lazerlamps), so you should only need the light bar kit itself - either the single long bar or the twin units, with relay and wiring harness - and none of the CanBUS interface options.

Default Lazer Lamps

I actually wrote to the manufacturer a few days ago to inquire about the longer light bar and whether a controller was necessary. Their response was "The light does not come with the Dashboard controller, on our website is shows as the second selection automatically added as you need it to control the lamp. The reason why is not included in the lamp is because some of customers connect more than one lamp to the controller and it shouldn’t be a extra cost when purchasing more than one lamp. The third option to select is the CAN Duo which will allow you to use the Speed Adapt Mode: beam pattern adjusts depending on the speed of the vehicle between 30mph/50kph – 50mph/80kph. In regards to regulations, our light are auxiliary lighting, it will connect to your high beam. Under Downloads you will find the certificate for the lamp and you will need local regulations before installing the lamp https://www.lazerlamps.com/triple-r-1250-smartview.html." If that's helpful...

Following up on this topic, I was thinking of getting the Lazerlamp Triple-R 1250 bar, but then I read this in their website
"Please note: installation of the Triple-R 1250 will result in some interference with the front camera (equivalent to 1m in front of the vehicle)."

Has any one installed this light bar? Could they show how it impacts the front camera output?
