The lemon strikes again (CEL)
LR's reputation is based off of vehicles that were made over a decade ago, in a different country, in a different factory, using different processes from the new Defender. It's a sticky reputation to break out of, especially since Toyota fanboys seems to do nothing but crowd the comments sections of every LR product youtube video with claims of their vaunted reliability (They do it to Jeeps too, its super annoying. Not as annoying as the ducks though).
As car designs and technology updates so quickly, my main qualification for buying cars are the ones with aging-well design with heritage to backup. This new Defender def. meeting my qualifications very well. I hope this initial experience is just short term hiccups in long term ownership.
