Low Battery Warning
Could mean you need a new battery, or it might just be low. Try driving around for at least 20-30 minutes to recharge the battery. If it still persists over the next few days, try a trickle charger, and if that doesn't work, take it to the dealer so they can perform a test to see if it needs to be replaced. If it fails, JLR will replace it under warranty.
Does anyone know exactly what causes this message? My vehicle will show it if it has been sitting for a week or so. I drive it to town and back (20 miles) and the message persists when I get back, but goes away the following morning. I have a plug-in voltmeter that usually shows 12.0V when the message appears, but sometimes it appears as high as 12.4V. Has me puzzled.
I have been trickle charging it since yesterday, it's looking good. Thank you
If your vehicle is new or under a year old, take it to the dealer and let them check the battery out. At the very least, the issue will be documented if you have any further problems with the battery and they could just replace the battery for you. This should not be happening if your vehicle is new.

As someone mentioned elsewhere, their low battery warning ended up in an immobile Defender 20 minutes later. It was suggested that a low battery does not play well with DC-DC converter and than it ****s itself.
I had 2023 model as well and purchased this Feb. I had same warning issue and dealer replaced the battery.
As battery issue is known issue and dealer makes more money replacing battery than just testing, it worked to for both (dealer and myself).
I got a new battery and installed all new aftermarket audio but I didn't have any issue since replacement. (I drive defender maybe 2-3x/week only).
So if you have an option (before warranty runs out), I recommend taking it in and getting it replaced.
