Default Lucky buyers:GM removes start/stop from full-size trucks and SUVs

We should be so lucky....

GM removes start/stop from full-size trucks and SUVs with V8 engines

Buyers will get a $50 discount on vehicles without start/stop technology

I think most of us would rather NOT have the auto start/stop system - it is a PIA and just increases engine & starter wear. The only reason the manufacture's make this standard equipment is to help them meet CAFE numbers.
