unless something has changed they do offer a non resonated option. i had it and it was actually too loud
I really hope Milltek Corp listens to the customers and brings a non-resonated US version to market. I am itching to buy but will wait until we hear a clear direction from them. I’ve heard they might develop it, but my past 2 messages to them have gone ignored so who knows …

They offer it on the US website but it is the OPF version that is tuned for European defenders, hence the unbearable drone everyone in North America is talking/complaining about.

i had the first miltek system in US which was made for the european spec defender.
i added an aftermarket vibrant super quiet resonator which was perfect after. loud enough and the drone was gone

If you have a 90 P400, it uses a shorter resonator and that is the one that someone reported in the thread has drone. I also think the is the non OPF version as well (see post 10 above).

everyone is talking about different things. from what i got from the thread, miltek resonated is not loud enough but no drone, non resonated is loud enough but has a lot of drone.
guess its all preference if resonated is truly loins enough.
i no longer have the p400 but have a v8 miltek resonated. i bought both non resonated and resonated pieces. heard lots of drone with the straight pipes. for me resonated is loud enough and minimal drone

If you have a 110 P400, I am telling you with a Milltek resonator, there is zero drone. I have that set up on my Defender. From Milltek's website, it appears they have the same part number in the US and EU which is the OPF version.

UPDATE 2: I have had the exhaust on for a couple weeks now and I am happy to report:
No drone
The sound has gotten a little deeper (even better)
My OCD has led to about 20 adjustments of the tips to get them even and aligned
In Dynamic mode you get very slight pops on deceleration - but this is not a loud exhaust.
Personally, I would have liked a bit louder, but I did not want the drone from the non-resonated version.
Bottom line, I am happy and got the exhaust at a good price.

vinceleo: If you’re still monitoring this thread, I’m very much interested in this exhaust, and based on your satisfaction you’ve reported I may go ahead with a purchase. Always do my own mods, and you mention that you did it yourself. Was it simply unbolt the old and fit the new Milltek? No extra parts needed, no difficulty removing the old exhaust, no cutting, cursing, or headshaking? Exhaustion systems tend to be stubborn after a couple years of heating and cooling cycles; clamps breaking, bolts and nuts stripping, hard to remove parts. I’m ready to tackle it but don’t want any surprises. Thanks for your past input.
I am still happy with the exhaust - it is not loud maybe more like a factory sport exhaust on a BMW. From inside the car, you hear a hint of a louder exhaust, but honestly, no one that has been my car has ever commented. The valet the other night mentioned it was the best sounding LR he has heard.
The installation was very straightforward (no cutting, no extra parts, very little swearing). The hardest part was separating the slip-fit pipe after the cat. We heated it up and gave it a few raps with a hammer and chisel. Maybe an hour for the total project. I have access to a lift, so it was easier than being on the ground. My car has been in for service and zero comments from the dealer.
