I love carplay for music and connectivity but I really like the built in navigation of the LR system. I use the map in my instrument cluster and while its nice that craplay supports it now. I still like the turn by turn and just the general feel of the integrated nav solution in my defender. Is there a way to still use my carplay but set the Nav to be the built in PIVI system? Is there a setting somewhere Im missing?

 

Once CarPlay has started, you should be able to switch back to built in Navigation. You have to click on the “blocks” on pivi that takes you back to the main screen. You can then choose the built in navigation app.

 

I like the PIVI interface, but directions seem a bit wonky. A number of times it has sent me in a seemingly longer direction than normal. I still have the Navigation Pro subscription and am starting to wonder if it's worth it.
