Default Navigation - Pivi Pro vs. Carplay/Google/Waze

Before buying my P400, I used Waze/Google maps/Apple maps all the time for commute and road trips. After driving the Defender though, I really like the Pivi Pro navigation app, especially the ability to put the maps directly into the driver display and not have to glance over to the right. However, sometimes I find the system a bit finicky and I don't see it avoiding traffic as effective as waze and the like. I was wondering what is the general consensus (if any) in the forum about what system folks are using. Pivi or Waze/Maps? If using Pivi, any tips on how to improve the overall experience? One point in favor of Waze is the function warning about cops with speed guns - that saved me several times during road trips since I do not have a radar detector. Thanks all.

You can use waze in the right display and still use the pivi pro nav in the center display.

I use google maps and Waze together with Waze running in the background with no destination set. I get all the warnings etc. I prefer the google maps interface.

That's a good solution to still have the warnings using the Pivi nav. However I force myself to use Pivi nav, since I do not think it is on par with Waze or Maps in terms of traffic prediction and avoidance, but, as I said, really like to have the guidance directly in the dash using full map mode. Maybe in the future they will allow to use Waze/Maps in the dash...one can dream.
