Took delivery of a 23.5 V8 last night after my X order got too many options cancelled by the factor. This one came with everything that was important to me but a few odds:
Both keys
IDD
Large Pivi screen
Meridian Surround
all 3 front USB and two rear USB
ClearSight Rear view mirror
Outlet in the trunk
no soft close for trunk
no sunglasses holder
no blind spot alerts in the doors. I don't know the exact term for this option, but there should be little indicator lights on each door to warn passengers of traffic. I still have the regular blind spot alerts in the two mirrors.
I had the same idea, but my X is already built (delivery is Mid April) supposedly with the following features missing
ClearSight Mirror
Meridian Surround
Sunglass Holder
Only 2 USBs in front and maybe 2 rear.
Ambient Lighting (highly possible)
However here in Dubai the dealer’s price difference between the X and the V8 is + $60,000
Yet here I am still contemplating.
When I factory-ordered my 2019 L494 RR Sport, my dealer at the time - Jaguar Land Rover Colorado Springs - give me several updates on build date and date of arrival at the docks in the UK. Marine Traffic website had shown a RORO car carrier in port with a sailing route that ended in Port Hueneme and it turned out that was the right ship. It was fun to monitor the progress. Traffic through the Canal was backed up a few days (Jan 2019) so we joked about the ship having been boarded by lady pirates...!

I'm in LA but ordered Aug1 2022 from phoenix because all dealers out here were charging 10k mark up. Phoenix was MSRP. Prepared myself for missing things but got lucky and almost everything was in it. Meridian surround, all usbs, IDD etc. Delivered March 20, 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
Only thing missing was the damn sunglass holder ha. Anyways, hope this gives some hope to anyone who is doom and gloom about missing out on things

My 23.5 Defender SE that was built on December 16th 2022 is STILL on its merry way to Melbourne, Australia and yes, whilst it is fun to track the ship the damn thing is so slow! What doesn't help is the backlog of car deliveries at Australian ports so what what normally be a 2 day turnaround time to dock in Melbourne, unload and sail off again is currently scheduled at 16 days. https://www.drive.com.au/news/quaran...cars-stranded/

You didn’t mention the ClearSight View Mirror and Ambient Lighting, was it included in your built?

Just a blank piece of gloss black plastic. It is possible to retrofit
