Took delivery of my 23.5 P400 SE today. Was missing nothing! I got the digital display, meridian surround, signature LED lights, 2 keys, and all charging ports. Salesman told me Land Rover has been better at delivering complete cars recently.

Did not get the video mirror, but it wasn’t even an option on my P400 build so I didn’t expect it. I think it was only standard on earlier model years

 

My 110-X is supposed to be here in three weeks. It was built April 16. The 'build-sheet' shows everything, including the clear view mirror. The only thing changed out was the digital to analog gauges. Everything else that should have been there was listed as installed. I'm a little ambivalent about the analog gauges after a trip to the dealer for a comparison. The 110-X on the floor in the dealership had the clear view camera with analog gauges. I thought it had a good look, and one thing less to go wrong. Given the discussion here, I might even prefer it, and this coming from someone moving out of a RR sport with the digital display. I'll do the inventory when it shows and report. I'm grateful for the forum discussion here, to learn what to be on the lookout for, and I'm looking forward to the new vehicle.

 

Nothing to worry about with the TFT screen...We took delivery last month (110SE) with TFT and 11.4" center screen, much the way your X sounds like it will be equipped. I had a loaner 130 last week with the digital gauges and honestly did not feel the TFT was any sort of a downgrade after going through the options on the full digital offered.

 

UPDATE - I called my dealer (Land Rover of Pasadena) recently to get an update on the MY 23.5 Defender 110 X-Dyanamic vehicle I had ordered in Feb 2023. They told me that the car had been delivered earlier than expected and that the sales manager had inadvertently sold my vehicle already. I'm not sure what to do now since I had already cancelled my previous Rivian order expecting to get the Defender in June. Remaining build slots for 23.5 cars don't have too many cars spec'd with 3rd row seating. Placing a new order for a MY 24 vehicle would likely push delivery into October / Novermber 2023.. The identical build for a MY24 (minus surround sound) would already be $1600 more than the MY23.5 build.

 

How does that even happen? Who was your sales rep? Why didn't they contact you when the car came in to finalize the transaction? Did they hold onto a deposit for this order?

 

I dunno how it happens. My sales reps (Ruben and Justin) apparently were both out when the car arrived and they claim the sales manager sold the vehicle (at least that's what their story is). They still have my deposit. I have to decide if I want to try to find a 23.5 build that ticks enough boxes, order a MY 24 vehicle, or cancel altogether and get my deposit back.

 

Ditch the sales, go talk to that sales manager, they have to work something out for you.
