I walked into the dealership on Feb 25th. Got my allocation on Mar 15. And I should be getting my Defender on July 8.

I noticed on my X-Dynamic SE build that "illuminated metal treadplates with brand-name script" was a $0.00 option under Interior Features. Of course it was unchecked in my submitted build.

The P400 has an MHEV system which requires a great deal more chips than the P300. We would love to be focused on building P400 right now as the margins are better, but we simply can't do it. It's a win for the folks seeking a more affordable Defender though as it has allowed us to focus on outstanding orders and take orders for P300.

Keep in mind that retailers have limited orders they can take and they're likely going to prioritize good or long-term customers or people building pricier spec cars with more options and accessories and thus more profit for them. We certainly discourage it, but we can't control it. I hear things are especially messy in the state of California (which always seems to be a problem spot in the states) so do try to avoid it if possible.

Hi Insider - do you have any updates for the month of April 2022? I've been trying to place an order for a fairly loaded 110 X for which they are asking a decent non-refundable deposit. Unfortunately, the dealer has been stalling a bit but not really giving me any details. I'm wondering if I upgraded to a 110 V8 versus the X, then things might become more solidified? Minnesota based. The primary reason I don't want the V8 is because I can't add the roof rack or other roof accessories later.

Thanks!

Default Got it!

Picked up my 23 d90s yesterday. I love it! I got the P300 engine and I am really satisfied with its power. I would never want or need more than that. For me, its very quick and responsive. The build quality is really good and i am also very happy with the smaller screen. This truck is iconic!

Congrats. I feel the same way about my p300 engine. Watched a youtube review the other day where someone was saying don't buy the p300.

I'm not a big fan of people trying to tell others what to buy without even bothering to drive the different variants. He proceeds to recommend an 80k build. smh
