Model 2023 - Production and delivery date
I spoke to my SA yesterday and he said they should find out Monday if it was built on Friday
Paid a visit to my dealer this AM. Found out my truck is on the Wallenius Car Carrier "Toronto". Left Southampton on 5/20, due in at Baltimore on 5/30. Currently in the Western Approaches sailing southwest at 16.5 knots.
Anyone know how long it takes to process through the Port of Baltimore?

Just heard back from our SA (Farmington Hills, MI) on our 110 X-Dynamic SE 400P.
Ordered - 3/16/22
Last Amendment - 4/27/22
Build Date - 5/27/22
Delivery Date - 7/22/22
He confirmed it's already built but the delivery date is the same 7/22. No notes on changes from our build due to shortages.
Super excited!

My SA responded and said "Your Defender has been built, and is currently in build market distribution. Its final step before it goes onto the ship."
So I am also getting super excited!
Just signed up to this form about 6~8 weeks ago shortly after putting in an order for a 2023 Defender 110 here in Colorado. Interesting reading thus far - thanks to all for sharing their thoughts-insights-trials-tribulations...etc
Heard back earlier this week from our dealer rep - L.R. Flatirons - she noted our rig is formally in the 'build state' which was exciting news. We got lucky as we were in the queue awaiting an order slot after wanting to pull the trigger in late Jan 2022... got lucky as another customer canceled their order.
One material reason for the Defender decision was our desire for something with towing capacity that was better than our 2014 FJ Cruiser TTUE (manual). The FJ @ +/-4800 lb tow capacity was a little light (note: we truly enjoy our FJ - so much we had one when first re-released in 2006 or so - sold that to a friend in 2014 - bought the last model year release in 2014 as a replacement/upgrade). Effectively concurrent with this Defender purchase we also pulled the trigger on a Kimberley Kamper Hybrid Karavan (GVRW 5500 lb). The LRDef +/-8200 lb tow capacity and off-road capabilities, and the luxury for regular travel, married with the Kimberley seemed like an ideal fit for our early retirement plans. The overlap of the delivery of both items will prove interesting. We received notice just yesterday our trailer is at the port in AUS waiting to load and make the trip across the pond to California... ball park puts it in Ohio for final tweaks and pickup late July 'ish' is my best guess - maybe sooner. All we can do smile and watch things out of our control play out.
The overlap of the Defender and the Karavan deliveries will be interesting. Which will arrive first - and yield the least amount of drama - shall undoubtedly prove entertaining.

Interesting rig! Looks cool. Post pics of the tractor/trailer combo when they both come in. If the trailer beats the Defender (and you don't have to tow it crazy far), I'd recommend going to uHaul to find something that will tow it home. Unless of course you can convince a buddy with the towing capacity. Try bribing with whiskey. Whiskey works well when someone needs to borrow my 2500.
