Well, a delay for me (US, buying from a NJ dealer).

Built on 5/25/22, and originally expected "At Retailer" on 7/15. I checked with my dealer today, and he showed me the updated log: now expected At Retailer on 8/19/22.

His explanation: "It's in Market Distribution in the UK. Vehicles in distribution are waiting on chips to complete the build and load onto a ship."

So I'm waiting a little longer. It seems odd to ship them from the factory to the UK to wait for parts. Why not just have them wait near the factory and ship it once when complete?

 

FYI, expedition rack stateside on back order for at least a month so it's been deleted from my build. Should be in hand in 7-10 days. Hoping the price stays the same.

 

My May 25th build with original Aug 12th delivery is getting pushed into September. Still hasn't been loaded onto a Ship yet. Curious if I'm one of the ones transported to the UK to await chip install?

 

Is this for port install or dealer? I specced the port install... maybe hasn't been disclosed because my delivery is delayed and will likely be back in stock by the time it arrives?

 

I asked in June when I ordered the expedition rack, air compressor, and then wheel arches. they were able to port install the wheel arches but the rack and air compressor were local install.

 

Was that through a Pack? My dealer told me if I ordered the rack by itself not within a Pack it would be port installed.

 

No, just the options. None of the packs had the combo of things I wanted

Rack was port install. I’ve been told 1-3 month back order.

 

My P300 ordered in November built in may just arrived in California. And it has the 9” screen vs 11.4” as ordered and specced on the spec sheet. A bit disappointing.
