Volans leader ship arrived in San Diego this morning, hopefully my D90 is safe on it

My 23.5 Defender 110 V8 (Carpathian Ed.) was officially built on 6/1/23 and is awaiting a ship as of today. They modified the delivery date from 7/28 to 8/4/23. We shall see. The dealer will update me with a ship name early next week.

They get quite the country tour by the time they get here.
Start in Slovakia, train through Czech Republic, to port in Germany, Stop over in UK,

Looks like I jumped the gun slightly, the Volans Leader was still moving around a bit - maybe it did some drop offs ? Anyway this morning it docked at Hueneme which is the one my salesperson mentioned which should be its final port and where my Defender gets unloaded.

 

Not sure if anyone else's Defender is on board, but the Brooklands reached the port of Brunswick late yesterday. I don't know how long the process takes to unload the vehicles, go through customs, and get on a truck for delivery, but I'm hoping to have an updated delivery date next week. My salesperson isn't the most communicative, so after a week I'll send a text. So close, and yet so far.

 

My D90S was on the same boat, but discharged at Baltimore's Sporrows Point.

Passed customs, headed to Asheville.

I ordered a D 90S in March, build date 4/28. I just went to the dealership to take a peak before delivery on Wednesday. I’m pleased to say it came with the digital dash! , no sunglass holder, 2 of the 4 usb ports in the rear, and the smaller center screen. I never had the option for the upgraded headlights or 700 w stereo on the 90S. I’m pretty stoked! They did offer to install the cross bars on the roof rails for $250! Haha.

 

That gives me hope. My D90S was built 4/25 and I ordered the IDD, but I was told shortly before build date all 90's would be analog.

My dealer is in Asheville NC, where are you?

 

My 110X was born on 6/5/23 and is currently headed to Southampton from Bremerhaven aboard the Cepheus Leader. I guess it drops off Defenders and Discoverys in GB, picks up more Land Rovers before heading to the US. My dealer is in Colorado Springs. Will it port in TX or CA? Delivery date on the Vista printout is 8/11/23 with a projected handoff of 8/25/23. I'm new to tracking maritime vessels. Thanks for any comments.

 

I live in New Hampshire, but ordered from a dealer in Massachusetts. I’d have the Defender in my driveway right now, but buying out of state creates some extra steps.
