interesting that DB Cargo has either built or modified a new rail car to transport the Defender due to its overall size. Does anyone have a definitive answer?
Since JLR is providing specific vessel identification for individual owners it might help those who wish to track their Defenders progress during transport.
Mine was originally due to the dealer on Oct 7. Not sure about the rail route it took from Nitra (build finished Aug 26) to Zeebrugge, but once at Zeebrugge it was loaded onto Hawaiian Highway on Sept 11, made it across the pond and hit Baltimore on Sept 21, departed Baltimore on Sept 24 and entered port in Brunswick GA on Sept 25. Was loaded onto the truck on Sept 30. Got the call today that it's arrived in DFW and will be ready tomorrow afternoon.

Your dealer sure seems to be able to get better info if you were able to get all those details. Keep postponing my trip for this dang delivery (well also this last time because of Ian but thankfully our place wasn’t damaged this go around).

Well part of it was after the fact deduction since she didn't tell me that it was on the ship until it was 2/3 of the way to Baltimore. She did tell me the day it finished the build, but she gave me the name of the ship and I was able to track the path back to Zeebrugge, and she also said that Baltimore wasn't its final port, Brunswick was. I used the Marine-Traffic app to track the ship and paid the .99 charge per day to see the real time location. The two small boats next to the ship are the tugs. Was pretty cool to follow.
I got her to tell me that the truck was ok and hitting the road as Ian rolled in. I suspect that they got it on the truck post haste to avoid damage and that's likely how it's arriving early. I didn't expect it to be in my hands until mid-next week after make-ready.

Is that something that comes automatically with the climate rear seats? I imagine it's the same with the 110 and 90.

Thanks
I picked up my 23 110 S last month and it has the 4 blanks. I figured it was just because I went with a lower trim. If the wiring for the two usb ports are present they look easy enough to retrofit. Also, I don't have the dash port either but it doesn't look like the one in the video does either (1:33).

I know JLR have been removing things but this should concern 110 and 90 soon to be owners as well. Maybe it's just a thing affecting the first editions. I do see "Powerpack 24" and "Power Socket Pack 1" as standard on different materials but what is that on the Defender?
Yeah I have no idea man, even so I can’t change anything at this point even if I wanted to, so I’m happy with what I’m getting. Regardless, be interesting to see what I get.

I put in my order for a X- Dynamic 110 in June 2022. Hand over date was slated for December 2022, then got pushed to Jan 2023 and now pushed further to March 2023. Is this normal?

I'm considering giving up on my order because this is getting harder and harder to justify paying 100k for a vehicle that keeps getting downgraded, on top of 6+ months to be delivered and when you add in the extra months of delays, it doesn't even look like I'm going to get it regardless if I wanted to wait or not.

Do you have a copy of the build sheet with those dates or did the dealer tell you those dates?
