Makes sense. But I'm happy with it. I like simple black and white dials.

Hopefully this is the last of the delays and they will be here soon.
I stopped as I was in town yesterday to talk to the dealer, he’s still wondering if there isn’t some parts being delayed. The one good note is that I wanted to pick my floor mat and cargo protector mat and they gave them to me for free because of all the trouble, so that was $600 less out of my pocket. Also with hurricane I am delaying any trip to FL but it would sure be nice for it to be here within 2-3 weeks vs 10/28.

Is your defender coming via the East or West coast ports?

Default Travel route for Defenders from Nitra to USA

Curious as to the route Defenders travel from Nitra to USA. Many on this forum indicate Defenders are loaded on ships in Southhampton. This is
a notification from DB Cargo, the German railway system, that indicates Defenders are shipped via rail from Nitra and loaded onboard ships in Zeebrugge Belgium. It is
interesting that DB Cargo has either built or modified a new rail car to transport the Defender due to its overall size. Does anyone have a definitive answer?
Since JLR is providing specific vessel identification for individual owners it might help those who wish to track their Defenders progress during transport.

Here is the link to the first message. Did not realize the original post for the article would come through as a download, my bad. Link is easier to manage.

Has anyone had to add the "power pack" to get plugs for the rear seats? If you go to 3:18 of this
of a First Edition Defender 130 it has no power outlets for the 2nd row of seats. The salesman giving the walk through said "you can upgrade more with the power pack" but I've never seen that option when building my 130. Is that something that comes automatically with the climate rear seats? I imagine it's the same with the 110 and 90.

Thanks

Hey, so other 130 orderer here. So yeah the removal of the outlets for the 2nd row has been talked about extensively on here. However. this is the first time I’ve seen all 4 outlets be replaced with blank placeholders. I have the 4 zone and climate rear (2nd row) and third row heated optioned on mine as an SE model. Not sure what other package/option would change that. Nice catch. Also, no idea what “power pack” he’s talking about. Can’t change my order anymore anyways but never even seen it on the dealer’s side of software and ordering or the Build and Price on LR’s USA website. Regardless, excited for mine.

Default Similar Port Delay

It’ll be 10 months minus 2 weeks from when I put my order in to the dealer.
Mine was built 8/25 and has been sitting at the port (assume Belgium) for almost a month. Original delivery date was 9/7 and has been slipping every week with 10/28 being the current estimated delivery, but expecting another slip since it’s not on a ship yet (Virginia based).
