It looks like the 700W Meridian was dropped from a couple of the P400 trims?

 

It's been dropped from all P400 trims. If you want the Surround Sound (700W), you have to buy a P525 or buy a 23.5 or earlier MY.

 

Yeah, you cant even pay extra and option it.
I guess you have to spend 100k if you want a half decent stereo.

 

JLR website shows that the tweeter used to expand from 6 to 10 speakers is "no longer available".

Just placed an order for a 2023.5 MY Defender 110 S P300. Sounds like if you get a the P400 it would be a 2024 model year build. That I was looking for the P300 it will still be a 23.5 MY.

Here are some details and ordered from my local JLR Dealer here in Denver, Colorado.

screen is good, otherwise premium LEDs will break and power adjustable steering usually not needed,

 

Sounds like dealerships have opened the flood gates for MY 24 orders. Talked to the dealer today and orders are open to be submitted and have seen orders with 07/2023 build dates for a 24MY.

I’ll be replacing my 2019 Mustang Bullitt and possibly my 1996 Toyota Aristo Zi-Four.

 

all those protection items likely are available at the dealer level. my dealer fitted my old LR in 2014 with the toe hitch and roof rack, so they can do alot of additions once it's been built but before you take possession. thinks like the air compressor are interesting, and maybe those have to be selected at the build stage? there's a catalogue you can download online with accessories.

 

I spoke to a dealer about a 2024 Defender, but eventually didn't go ahead. they won't make a Defender without the panoramic window at this point. In older LR2/3/4 models, those had optional panoramic windows - yes - but they also opened! so folks often wanted that feature added. The New Defender window - does anyone know if you can open the skylight?! Until I can get a full metal roof with roof rails, I'm holding off on a new 110 Defender.... Interesting to note, when Defender sales started, the default was a full roof, and the panoramic was an extra $1,550 or something. Given Defender demand, they are now making folks pay for a panoramic window, even if they don't want it. I'll wait....
