The cure for rattles is to glue a few soft rubber grommets onto the rubber stoppers, this will add some resistance when closing and insure a tight rattle free experience

So weird. Mine has zero rattles. I wonder if they changed something with the rubber stopper dimensions. Mine fits super tightly. I can’t imagine I could even fit spacers behind.

I added these rubber grommets today under the original upper rubbers to increase the stack height.
Closing the table now is much more tight and seems rattle free for now.

Well for those of you with the crappy new tables, the one thing you have to look forward to ... when you’re off camping, etc... that black cutting board is removable -- and you can carry it around, for food prep or whatever at the campsite or tailgate as a temp surface somewhere. I’s fantastic. Best part of the table.
