A buddy of mine helped me make a custom drawer for my LR3! It's made mostly out of 3/4" plywood. It has a soft close track and a trap door in the back. The front is a peace of teak wood. Teak is expensive but for good reason, it's looks amazing and it's super strong!!

 

Looks good! I've been wanting to do the same for my Disco, but I'm thinking I'm going to use some steel/aluminum instead!
