Default My 2020 110 P400 Mod Journal

I usually make a thread where I track the progress of my cars while I have them. The Defender deserves the same. This thread will serve as a journal of my modifications a long the way.

Next phases:

The wheel is a 20x8.5 with 41.5mm offset. With the spacers the wheel is pushed out 30mm creating a 20x8.5 with 11.5mm offset.

H&R makes a set of 25mm spacers as well that would work. 20x8.5 with 16.5mm offset would be that functional setup.

25mm set - Part number 50757257 (you need two)
30mm set - Part number 60757257 (you need two)

30mm wheel spacers and new BFG K02 Tires:

Great build. I’m going to add to the tow bar too.

I see you are also in the Ham. Great looking truck. Have you been by RMR or know any of those guys? Perhaps you are the owner..?

I do know Sean and Kipp, I am not the owner. I am in the same industry though but my company doesn't do anything currently for JLR vehicles. We primarily make items for domestic cars/trucks and some German cars.

I've wanted to get up a group of enthusiast in the area for a while but haven't pursued it much. I don't know that those guys do any trail rides or events, which they really should with the business they have. Even a meeting somewhere like a cars and coffee event but for Land Roves or British vehicles. Who knows. I'm game for it.

While not specific to British vehicles the second Saturday of every month there is Magic City Octane that meets in front of Saks 5th Avenue at the Summit. The two gents that put that on are friends of mine and it's my wife's property which has an excellent turn out. Every other Saturday during the month there is another Cars & Coffee group that meets at the Colonnade by Cracker Barrel around 8:30 AM. It's all makes and models and I usually show up there with one of my exotic cars.

Hopefully my next update will include my new wheels. I went with a set of Vossen HF+2 in Gloss Black because they're lighter and stronger than the factory equipment with 1.0" extra width.

looks great. Where did you purchase 30mm wheel spacers?
