I believe a lot of European customers don't like too many logos on their cars. This has been a trend for several years. Many car manufacturers even give you the option to "de-select" certain logos in the configuration tool.
Land Rover is probably just listening to the their customer base in Europe.
Previous Range Rover models had the engine size (P300, P400, P525, etc.) written on the back of the car. This has also disappeared on recent models as many customers had them removed by the dealers.

While that is true, the folks at JLR confirmed with me when I was at Goodwood that they removed the badge as part of the "House of Brands" nonsense to split off Range Rover, Discovery, Defender, and Jaguar. All LR products now only have the LR badge on the front grille for MY2025.
