My OCTA is now a 2-seater...with a lot more storage capacity
I'll share some photos later but have now removed the seats as well as the giant cylindrical mounting beam. In place is an adjustable platform that simply by chance lines up perfectly with the rear cargo floor height as well as the rear to front width. It is adjustable in height but also length which is arranged to be across the width of the vehicle.
A National Luna 37L fridge is mounted on that in the center allowing my Yeti SB150 mountain bike to roll in just exactly to the back of the driver seat, which is set to max rear for my long legs. This is 14 wide and 16.5" tall, by roughly 24" long. The fridge sits at cargo floor height. The bike of course has front wheel off, I roll it in reverse, rear wheel touching back of driver seat, inboard edge. This leaves space between the back wheel and side door for the ride specific gear bag. A bike-tool case sits in footwell behind driver seat.
Under the platform is roughly 6" clear space for "stuff". The front edge of the platform is aligned with the raised floor section where the seats mount. This leaves the entire foot-well area clear for "stuff. A mid-size EcoFlow fits right into either side.
I might still really want a 130 "4 seat" camper build but this is a good start, at least for my less cushy solo trips in any weather.

Cool. Yes please - pics. I too share a dream of removing my 2nd row ... and 3rd row.
I’m curious what this is though 'the giant cylindrical mounting beam.” -- ? I’m guessing Octa is a 5 seater, and that’s something 5 seater 110’s have (my 7 seater has a different contraption)
