Default MY2026 P300 turbo cooling fan noise... or lack thereof

I've had my 2026 P300 for nearly 8 months now and it has performed flawlessly. As the temperatures have been climbing into the 90 degree range lately I've been expecting to hear the loud cooling fan after returning from a drive, but so far nothing. I had a 2021 where the fan would run every time I shut down in the summer and it sounded like a jet taking off.

Does anyone know if JLR made modifications to the cooling fan in recent model years or do I having a potential issue? It doesn't seem overly hot, temp gauge birthday, no warnings, etc. so just curious if I need to be concerned or not. Thanks!

The software was updated and made it much quieter. Across several model years.

Interesting, curious if it was just software that changed or also hardware. Does it keep the fan running just at slower speed (hence quieter) for longer time?

Thanks! It's definitely a dramatic difference from the '21. I'm curious if it's just software or hardware as well.
