After a bit of research I think I will be going with Defender, but I still like Wrangler a lot.

What trims, engine you would recommend? What would be my best option with reliability in mind.
also I am not sure if I should opt-in for air suspension.

I am kind of person- less is better. Don’t like over engineering keep in mind - I am based in England so I think in UK market we have slightly different trims, engines. I personally do like diesel engines more- they are cheaper to run (on average I am doing around 20k miles annually)
Well I am north west of England. I have just taking delivery of my D350 Defender X-Dynamic HSE in black and I love it!!

The biggest problem with the Wrangler is that you have to be indoctrinated into the Jeep cult and suffer through the idiotic rubber ducky nonsense.

Also, its a painbox to drive on the road - and this is coming from a guy who daily drives the absolutely most uncomfortable vehicle ever produced.

Heres a great video that takes a look at base model Wrangler, vs Base 90, vs Base-ish Bronco:

Buy a Defender in the lead-in "S" specification, it's all you'll ever need.

l wouldn't even bother with the air suspension unless it's standard on the base 110.

The D250/D300 engine is perfect for this vehicle.

Also unless you plan serious off road you don't need the "off road pack". Save the £2,000 and use it to take the family on a holiday.
