Paint is awesome
I like the black hood (it’s literally the only dumb reason I bought the X)
The rest of it is idk sort of meaningless to my eyes and brain at this time.
Glad to see Simon made a video at Goodwood again! I had the pleasure to meet him last year at Goodwood, and we got to check out the OCTA together. Wish I could've made it again this year, but I'll be back for sure in the future.
Very interesting that they changed the angle of the console in order to make sure the gear selector doesn't hit the screen. Nobody would've noticed that from the press photos.
The JLR team by far had the most knowledge about their vehicles than any of the other brands based on the folks I spoke with at just about every stand last year. The press officers were able to answer all of my (way too many) questions about the OCTA . They were incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and when they couldn't answer one of my questions, they called over one of their engineers working the event, and was happy to answer all of my questions. The only ones that were almost as knowledgeable about engineering details were Koenigsegg, Porsche, and Bentley.
I hated the Woolstone Green in the CGI press photos, but I saw pictures of it in person, and man does it look a lot better in the flesh.

Oh that's awesome. I have mine ordered in Woolstone Green. Were there any at the show to view in person, I was hoping to see photos and videos. So far only Simons video is out.

I didn't fly across the pond this year to attend, but I saw pictures on Instagram. I'll try to find the post on Instagram and will update this post to include it if I find it. It is more of a deep, dark metallic green than a metallic army green as seen in the press photos. It looked very nice under direct sunlight!
I still prefer my Pangea Green, but Woolstone looks much better in the flesh and I take back my baby sick comparison - those CGI press photos were terrible.
