my god after a day scratching my head finally did it, it was that little piece of metal that has to be removed and it fit.
Glad you got it. And that "mud scraper" is a function of 20" wheels, not engine size. So even a P300 with 20s will have it.
The problem with the P400 is that the rear calipers themselves are larger and have to be either replaced or ground down a little. But your rears should be fine.
thank you for this thread. Based on this I have taken the plunge and bought the below tyres and rims. Tyres are 275 65 R18's. Fingers crossed they fit. if they don't I may need donations towards surgery and probably a new house as my wife is going to kick my butt out
Hi All,
I apologize for the cross post, and I know this thread doesn’t talk about 22s, but I didn't get any replies in the Carpathian inbound thread. I have a V8 110 Carpathian Edition with the satin gray 22" wheels with the 275/45/22 Continental street tires. I'd like to put some all-terrains on those rims but there aren't many choices in that exact size. I really like the Nitro Recon Grapplers and they come in a 285/45/22 size. Nitto specs say they're compatible with a 9" rim and the overall diameter is 32". I don't know anything about wheel/tire sizing/spacing/rubbing and such. Was just wondering if anyone had an idea whether these would fit without any modifications. I don't want a lift.
Thanks for any advice,
Brent
