That price is actually more reasonable that I thought it would be.
I have a pair on their way to me after shipping resumed. Simon gave me a nice deal as he was able to use the pictures I sent. What a gentleman. What a great company.
DHL hit me with some extra duties over and above what I was expecting which I don't really understand. Whaddayagonnado? I's either pay it or they go back.

Hmm. Still can't place my order online. Guess I'll need a cutout in the UK to ship it to me.
18 months later and my ladder is better than new I can’t see these hinges ever breaking.
I used 3 OEM screws and 1 PUK. The tolerance is very tight on the OEM. Using 4 OEM was too tight for the new hinge to close comfortably. Not a critique. Just a slight difference. Lovely new Aluminum hinges. OEM screws left. PUK right. PUK left
Wow, the machining/quality on the PUK replacement hinges look amazing. They actually seem VERY well done considering the price and improved durability. Let us know how they work for you, they may outlast the car!!
That is great! I think one should replace the OEM hinges even if the OEM ladder is brand new. Safety is more important than the money you will spend on these replacements. If I ever get another OEM ladder (my first one was destroyed when I got rammed by a tractor trailer) I will get these and mount them before putting the ladder on the car.
Looks terrible and has an even worse price tag. Hard pass. Not convince those hinges are going to stand up to the challenge. Looks more fragile than OEM in that critical area.
I agree that this looks horrendous. I’d never consider that ladder.
