I'm planning my first overloading trip and need wheel and tire recommendations. I have a 2025 Sedona Red Edition with the factory 22" wheels. I'm thinking 20" and KO3's but curious if I can do 19"? What offset rims do I need? I'm hoping somebody else has done this so I can just hit the easy button. Lol

Congratulations on your 1st trip! I would suggest a set of factory 20" wheels and a decent all terrain tire (3 ply sidewall). The KO is a good tire. A set of 5 wheels will be easy to find. 20s are better than 19s since there are way more choices in sizes and brands. The factory wheels keep the factory offset which i believe is better. Any aftermarket wheels always have more positive offset to give the flush look that people like. The factory wheels also tend to be built better in their bead holding capabilities. It is safe to go to a 33 inch tire for a bit more sidewall and clearance. I really like the Maxxis RZR AT, but you will get many different opinions. I happen to have a set of 20" take offs if you decide to go that route.

When I downsized from 22” wheels to 20” wheels I just found a set of 5094’s on Facebook marketplace that someone took of their brand new Defender. They had the factory A/T’s which k though were fine but a lot of people would disagree with that statement.

I went through 2 sets of BFG Ko 1,2, 3. Great tire but I'm now more excited about the Nokian Outpost NAT that I'm using now. They've tested to better snow and rain traction but also a great design and a little quieter so far.

These wheels are the basic 20" that came on a lot of 2021 era Defenders.

I moved to the KO3 a year ago. The off road capabilities is a given, but I was surprised on how well it handled on pavement. I have the TuffAnt Kimberleys in the 18" which is an incredibly strong wheel. They now offer that model in a 20" wheel.

I moved from BFG to Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my ‘21 X. I’m running 18”/33’s. Nitto’s tend to balance much better than the BFG. Don’t do 19’s - no tire choice at all.
