I have a 100 watt Renogy panel that I purchased on Amazon for around $100. I had it on the roof rack of my LR4 and it worked great. I measured 82 watt output on a sunny day with about 25ft of wire between the panel and the bcdc charger.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I’m curious how you carpeted the box and panel. Is that some kind of stereo upholstery tacked on with spray adhesive? Thanks!

I used felt fabric. Thicker materials are difficult to get around tight corners. I used rubber cement and lots of staples. It isn't the most robust material but I haven't had any issues with tearing or peeling (used the same material on my LR4 drawers and that lasted years).
