Great case of tremendous (kidding) dealer service. Called the local dealer, gave the two parts numbers. Dealer comes back and says those parts are weatherstrips and the 2020 Defender I have does not have any service bulletins except the tape fix for the A Pillar noise. Then the service rep refers me to call LR Customer Service. (which hasn't answered two emails since I bought the car in Sept 2020) Is this really the best the brand offers? Not sure what is worse, a dealer who doesn't give a crap after they failed to fix the issue twice, or a brand that simply has no support.
My 2022 Defender 110 XS has the tapping problem. Not too sure if I want to head back to the dealership already. We have a three hour highway drive this coming weekend so hopefully no parts come flying off....
Is there an existing service bulletin to reference when I call the dealer?
We had this same issue on our 2020 Defender 110. After employing a variety of duct tape and Velcro solutions, I decided to fix in permanently in about two mins. Drilled one hole here where you can’t see it, and installed one pop rivet. Done.

had a couple 2 hr highway drives and decided to give the dealer a chance to fix it. The noise is just too annoying to live with forever.
Appointment is in a couple weeks so I’ll reply back with their results…
I tried posting this before but it isn’t here. I went through all of the temp fixes for the A-pillar problem. Duct tape, Velcro under the pillar trim, etc. Adhesive always failed eventually. So I got out my drill and in two mins drilled a 5/32 hole thru the trim inside the door opening into the body and put in one pop rivet. Done for good now!

That's terribly disappointing the problem is still occurring in my22 defenders....
Not yet, she goes back in for service next week. I have a list of sounds to have them check out.
Still getting the "sand hitting the windshield" sound. Happening at highway speeds and seems to be getting worse. Dealer fixed a number of things on the last visit but not this issue. I'm thinking I will need to hit highway speeds and get a video with sound to get the dealership to take notice.
