I remember seeing a thread a while ago on how to move the camera shortcut icon from the right to left side. I cancel life of me find out right now, so does anyone happen to know how to do this?

 

You could try this: Press the Settings gear icon, then press "HOME SCREEN", then "EDIT LAYOUT", then you can slide the icon into your preferred position, but of course the others then move accordingly, so it needs a few goes to get it correct for you.

 

I appreciate this reply. While it’s helpful. It unfortunately didn’t solve for getting the camera shortcut icon to the left side of the Pivi Pro display. US spec vehicle.

 

This only lets you re-arrange the tiles on the home screen, not the icons around the edge of the screen. You can also long hold on one of the home screen tiles to goto the same place. I was curious about this too as I've always thought that camera link should be on the left side. I just went down and had a fiddle around and figured it out. You can't move the camera icon to the left, however you can customize the 3 middle shortcut icons on the left side to open any app in pivipro, including the camera app. To do this you long press on one of the icons, it'll open the apps screen and you can drag different app's into those shortcut locations and customize them however you'd like. I had no idea this existed! Thanks for bringing this up!

Yeah they kinda hid this one, the home page tiles have a shortcut link in the settings to make it obvious, but the shortcut icons aren't mentioned in the settings at all. I think long pressing one of the icons simply takes you to the app's menu, once you know it's actually super intuitive and makes sense.

 

Good tip. I've been impressed with the pivi pro display thus far and the customizability. I like the idea above.

 

so google searches bring me to here, thought id' just post that as of today with the latest pivi pro I don't think you can adjust the leftside icons (it didn't let me anyway), however I can program the diamond button on my wheel to open any app, picked camera instead, OMG this is a huge QOL improvement.
