Pivi Pro OTA Updates. Data Plan required?
my 2023.5 is on 4.2.1 as the latest version while’s others are on my later versiosns. There is no ‘correct’ version as it’s somewhat inconsistent with latest versions with vins. I think the release by batch of vins to control server loads.
DEF130 24MY on 4.2.1 without any luck with future updates.
Car parked in a spot with solid WiFi and functional data via SIM year around. All previous updates installed without a hitch, except 4.3.0
I know JLR staggers updates by VIN, so some cars get them later, but the same update shouldn’t be months apart. If we can download map files from JLR’s site with the VIN and install them via USB‑C or regular USB, why can’t we do the same for a Pivi update?

4.3.0 MY20-23 only
4.2.1 All MY
According to that you (and I) are on the correct version
My Pivi Pro has not updated since Oct. I’m still running 4.2 and it says it is the latest version.
My ‘online pack with data plan’ expired in March and I’m thinking that may be my problem. A web search says that
I have connectivity in my car via Apple Car Play (I use a wired connection) and via WiFi when at home, so I didn’t feel the need to renew my Data Plan subscription.
Other than going to the dealer, can I get my update without a Data Plan subscription?
I can renew my Data Plan online, however it’s $500. I’d rather spend that on some accessories for the rig.
I should also add that if I try to connect to InControl via Pivi, I get an error saying ‘No Internet Connection’, even tho I have cellular and WiFi connectivity. I can connect to InControl via a web browser and my Remote app is connecting also.

Edit: 4.3.2 is now out too. What is this "once a year sign-in" change? For the app?
