The reality is that nobody is walking into a Land Rover dealer that has a Defender in stock and getting an MSRP deal right now. Ordering to spec, waiting or an allocation and then waiting months for the car to get built and then arrive is not something I am interested in. Too many variables at play there and it just doesn't work for my life. A dealer has to have cars in stock and buyable TODAY for me to pull off a switch.
