PNW Defenders Assemble!
beauty of a RR Autobiography
Lifted V8 300k plus on the odometer saved my bacon today. Amazing what a capable driver with skill and a softer rubber compound can do.
My KO2s at 16psi became as grippy as hockey pucks. Tremendously surprising.
20F or thereabouts. Got to trailhead for a hike. No problems.
Couldn’t get turned around at the trailhead and got myself royally fecked reversing to a flatter area and then sliding into a 2’ snow bank.
idiot.
lo range
14-16 psi
All diffs locked in configurable TR.
traction control off (insomuch as it’s possible to turn off)
about as much traction as the Kia I rescued 2 weeks ago.
no cure for stupid.

Traction boards are your friend in the snow.
A set of cheapo ones on Amazon run about $50 if I recall. I don't bother with the expensive maxtrax ones as I always break them. Might as well break a $50 board instead of a $350 board.

I left all my gear at home yesterday. MaxTrax, shovel, shackles, straps, compressor, family brain-cell. The lot.
