Can you be a bit more specific? How many miles on your car and when does this message appear? It could be related to something as simple as bad MAP sensor or a sticking wastegate linkage or actuator. I would check for a loose connector, corrosion, as well as intercooler leaks. Worst case it could be the turbocharger going bad. If your car is still under warranty, run with it to the dealer and let them deal with it.

2020 p400 110 with 50k miles. Car driving normal. It recently sat for 2 weeks at my folks place. Before I left, it was requesting approval for OTA update 4.3.X. I was holding off. It's no longer asking for an update. It is possible my father updated it, so Ill try and see what SW its on now and whether the PCM was updated to a new calibration. I'm going to see whether the actuator is stuck but If it is, what then? Replace the turbocharger/manifold? lame

It really depends on why it is stuck. I have never looked into this myself, but my tech says if you can disconnect the actuator linkage, check if the actuator and turbo lever move freely. If the turbo lever is frozen solid, I am afraid you are looking at a new or rebuild turbo. Good luck.

I would not jump straight to “broken waste gate, replace turbocharger” which btw is integrated into the exhaust manifold so it’s pricey.

Sounds more like some hose connection is off. Probably the top mounted charge cooler / intercooler.

One thought = the supercharger and the turbocharger are 2 different forced induction components on this motor. It seems a bit odd that the code would reference both. I do admit I have no concept of how boost control is physically managed between the two components and how it may be interrelated though so I’m half talking out my ****.

so issued resolved after clearing the codes and driving her pretty hard. I hate how many ancillaries are on this engine. It's a nexus of hoses that i'm sure are only there for emissions. I could barely stick my hand where the actuator is pushed it fully front to back a few times. Any how, car been driving fine otherwise. I'll update if it returns.

I do live in a salty climate and can see how the parts would corrode and then seize. Noticing some rust forming on various components

Glad it got resolved, but I would keep an eye on it. I would also see about washing off all the salt away from the engine bay. Corrosion will damage any engine.

Issue is back. Car is also down on power. No low boost dtc. Will check the linkage and connector.

edit: can someone tell me what their values for the actuator voltage.
