Default Powder Cross Beam

This query seems insignificant with all the supply chain issues we are facing but hopefully someone readily knows the answer from a defender they have already taken delivery of.

question - I have selected ebony interior for my x-Dynamic HSE 110 and have a week or so to make final changes (as opposed to LR who can make changes on the fly&#128580. For the powder crossbeam I have selected dark grey. In the configurator there does not appear to be any contrast to the rest of the dash (as there is in the light grey pic attached). Can someone who has ebony interior and dark grey crossbeam confirm there is or is not a contrast between the two (ie both are not the same contrast black). If so I will go the lighter grey for the crossbeam.
thanks much!

Dark grey is lighter than the black interior and a bit purple.

V8 has a true black crossbeam and trim.

I went with white crossbeam because I liked the white accents on the doors with a black interior. Did not, however, like the white steering wheel. You can order a steering wheel trim (I will) but I've yet to find the part number for black. Only the other 3 colors.

LR133013 white
LR133014 light grey
LR133015 dark grey
The black one being sold on ebay and elsewhere is not OEM and just cheaply sticks over the original.

Thanks folks - really helpful - esp the better picture of the dark gray. I agree, it does look a little purplish.

I have ebony with the dark gray crossbeam. I love it. subtle enough contrast without looking too busy.

We have the light grey and it looks great providing some contrast to the ebony leather, and I really like the way the lighting looks at night.

Personal choice of course but IMO it's nice to have a little more contrast on the wheel. I was considering the darker one myself until I saw one on the lot (only through the window) and didn't really take to it. As it turned out it was only an option on the higher trims anyway so I couldn't have had it even if I wanted it.

This. I was on the fence with dark/light gray powder coated trim ... went with light gray, it's all personal but I have to say the colors really open up in the night.
