Kicking an almost dead horse, but I decided that I couldn't wait for KO2's (now KO3 in Augist 2025) and put 60 series Falken Wildpeak 255/60R19 tires on my D90S P300. If offloading is you and not daily driving, you're MUCH better off! (stating the obvious, you're losing ½" sidewall and tire is 32" not 33)

Better traction and handling, less road noise and curiously less noise on the cabin when doing 70mph.

Here's the deal with the OEM Goodyear Adventure AT: OG offroad GY tires are 6 ply without Kevlar. The 10 ply tires (non OEM) tires -do- have Kevlar.

Unfortunately it makes no difference in the performance and I lost one of the 10 ply tires to a cylindrical rock driven into the center of the trwad, just like one OEM 6 ply tires.

They are soft - too soft. Snow handling is crap, frankly they hydroplane WAY too easily. I came from a BMW 430iX daily driver, and drove a 530i back in the 80's on Avons. I know tires...

I also wore out a set at 20,000 miles since I regularly drive up to my home near Mount Mitchell on a 4.2 mile gravel state hiway. Like i said "soft - too soft"!
