I realize there's a chip shortage and supply chain stuff going on, which, I guess, is the reason why the larger screens and other things aren't readily available on the Defenders. Are all LR models dealing with this and are other manufacturers dealing with this?

 

The whole automotive industry are suffering, and a lot of manufacturers have removed certain specs and models from their range currently. LR in particular are favouring the more profitable Range Rover line-up currently so are siphoning the desirable items (larger screens etc.) for these.

It is improving slowly, so looking forward to a more stable supply! 🤞🏼

 

It's still an industry issue. Ford is STILL having issues with parts supplies leading to constraints on what model Bronco you can get. I've seen several articles in the past few months saying it could still be a year or two before things return to "normal".

My D90S P300 is being built in a week to ten days (currently shows 4/12) and I knew that the "Signature DRL" headlights were not available, and the sunglasses holder missing.

Now I am told dashboard will be analogue instead of digital. No adjustment since it's a no cost irem.

 

Great, I was worried that was gonna happen to me - min should be built in late May.

 

Well that explains it, I was wondering why it was listed as a no-cost option, it never made sense until you posted this, now it is crystal clear why it is priced this way...

 

And...what I understand the parts are being allocated for the Range Rovers, specifically the high end ones, .such as SV, SE, Autobiography etc. Same with Jaguar parts, on my 23 F-pace SVR, couldn't get the high power amp for the stereo because the were being used in the Range Rovers.
Full sized Range Rovers are one of the best sellers.

 

ugh... not the analog dash.. my build date is 6/30 and I'm holding my breath on this one. It's like the one friggin thing I want.. the one thing....

 

I thought the same at first, but realistically the only thing missing is turn by turn maps. It's in the center display, anyway.
