re: recommendations for alternatives to WaterPort rinse tanks
To all those familiar with rinse tanks, is WaterPort products the gold standard or can someone recommend something better? I've read mixed reviews... flimsy parts, poor seals, etc...
LR used to make what looked like a great rinse system but it was $$$$ and appears to have been discontinued.
I also found a system made by Rinse Kit... they make a 2G version that looks like it would satisfy my requirement.
I remember seeing photo's in one of these forum threads of MacGyver'd rinse tanks (i.e., repurposed weed/fumigation sprayers) but I don't want to go the 'Orkin' route.
I'm not looking for a rack mounted tank bur rather the 2G + model to use for quick rinses.
Any recommendations are much appreciated!

I have this: https://huckberry.com/store/nemo-equ...ressure-shower
I mostly use it to rinse off my inflatable kayak before folding it up, hands, feet, etc. So far I think it's great. I really like how when not full it packs small. I've also used it camping and it's awesome for rinsing plates, washing hands, etc. If you are in the sun and put it on the roof it will warm the water. In terms of pressure, it's good for rinsing but no replacement for a garden hose.

Just got a water port Day Tank with the roof rack mount. The mount is built extremely well but tonight I adapted it to a spare-tire mount which is rock solid and easier to reach for refilling and using (cleaning up, showering, etc.). Photos below.
Best price I could find $179 --> here and despite showing no "pump lid" as part of the package, it was included. The roof mount was separate and not expensive from WaterPort.
With the OEM on-board air compressor that I added in the rear of the Defender, you can set the pressure to just under 40 lbs (recommended max on the WaterPort) and as you use up the water, the compressor will automatically top off the pressure until you stop it when the tank is empty. Super handy!
Just a couple of 1" x 1" aluminum bars, drilled and fitted to the bottom of the mount to hold onto the contour of the tire. A large 2" compression ratchet strap and its not budging.
