Rear Bumper Protection
Not to go too far OT, but the Defender was supposed to be the "pretty girl" of the garage and I was hoping my wife would respect the fact that it was the first "new"ish car we bought since 2008 and treat it as a porcelain doll. Alas she's as tough on inanimate objects as a bull in a china shop. For example, despite my protestations, she continues to slam the transmission into drive while its still going in reverse. With regards to the bumper - in her defense, she's an average height female and our 110SE doesn't have the air suspension to help get the load floor lower. Hefting the heavy carry-on up that high isn't exactly easy for her. She's also got her medical bag that she uses for event coverages (sports med doc) that is about 75lbs but its soft so when it drags across the bumper I don't cringe. As much.
On the other hand, *my* offroad vehicle is well past its "first ding" so I really shouldn't be talking...
