Replaced them within or outside of warranty?

I just called my local Lookers Land Rover here in the UK and they said its £220 for an hour's labour and they would either fix it in that time or give me the additional cost.

Feels outrageous for a £100k+ car to need the windows glued back on!!

It's a 2020 so out of warranty.
I ordered a replacement 2nd hand part from a 2023 parts car on EBay. I’m going to have a local 3rd party shop swap it. Interestingly enough, it wasn’t the white pins that failed on mine, it was the lower black rubber thingy where the screw latches into. Tried multiple times fixing with silicon but it wouldn’t hold flush.

Since this is a known issue, I think LR also issued a TSB for their dealers about this, I would ask your dealership to call LR and get this fixed as goodwill. You can also call LR yourself and ask. Worth a try, and that way, it will be on the records for your 2020 even though it is out of warranty.

My dealer wanted to charge me for it. There’s no goodwill there lol. I’m never going back to them.

I would try another dealer or call LR customer support.
