replace MHEV battery?
Oh, forgot one piece that I added - first move the steering wheel back and forth a few times. You can't move it much when the car is not running, but it has something to do with the electric steering column lock. And press really hard on the brake.
I've learned the new Defender is basically a large computer cluster on wheels. When the modules lose comms with each other the whole beast freaks out. So I surmised that so many fault codes (gearshift control module, power control module, body control module, engine starter performance, immobilizer, vehicle communications bus...) could only point to 1) degraded battery, or 2) loose connections. Replaced the battery and fully charged her, then set about finding the loose connections

My hybrid toyota lost almost all functions are than driving and turning (13 messages in total), even braking was d egraded due to computer/battery issue.
But then it went back to normal.
