Rusting Exhaust tips on V8

Unfortunate yes. But easily removed with some steel wool and Brasso or like metal polish. The tips are already brushed. Raw stainless still requires a bit of maintenance now and then. Start with 0000 steel wool and some Brasso. Then buff with an old towel. If you choose the dealer route let us know there response. Post some before and after pictures so future topic readers can benefit.
Pro tip: Take a microfiber towel and lay it flat. Then take your 0000 steal wool and spread it out a bit and lay it on top of microfiber. Douse some Brasso on top. Use this setup to buff your tips In one motion pulling on the towel from side to side. Sorta like shining your shoes.

For sure I'd take it back and see what they say. If they say it's normal I would use this stuff t clean the rust off.
Then I would coat them in this.. (If they replace them I'd coat them in this as well. I put it on my muffler and tips when I bought mine and we're halfway through a salty winter with no signs of anything happening.)

I found this bulletin JLR issued in Nov 2023 about it. Apparently, no fix yet though - I speculate that they're having to build the business case, deal with a supplier on costs, etc. I'm not sure what else they can do except replace all of these mufflers as those tailpipes are integrated/welded on.

The document I found is notable in that it's a "status" not a determination or remedy. I'd bet after some time they'll have an actual remedy. So don't give up hope yet. Normally they release these types of docs when there's a problem being widely identified in the field, then eventually they'll decide on a fix. Then a new document comes out.
I became familiar with their "documents" a couple years ago when my 2020 kept doing the "not restarting at stoplights from auto start-stop" and they kept issuing documents saying "tell customer to turn off stop/start", then finally a remedy came out a year later.
