It's a very unique color and one thats hard to describe when telling someone what it looks like. It also hides dust dirt well under certain conditions, in that picture in the parking lot its actually dirtier than I ever keep a car, I'm quite embarrassed. LOL
Yes I really am glad I got Silicon Silver. If you live in anyplace where it snows, it is absolutely the best at hiding snow grime. I do like its color shifting effect as well. Kind of wish the Defender X didn't have a black hood, since black always look dirty except immediately after washing.

Hey DogPilot, do you have the "Bright exterior" package on your 90? I think it comes with chrome front and back bumpers. Silicon Silver on order and this option was added on. if you do have it, do you like it?
Actually, I really do not think I specifically ordered that package, I may be wrong. It has been something like 20 months ago (8 to get it shipped). Anyhow, I specifically got the skid plate, which I think was part of a package with the wider flares and some other duh like items for an off road car. I also ordered the stainless scratch plate on top of the rear bumper (do not let them install it, it has a template and it is a peel and stick, 1 hour labor for that! Even my salesman shout it was a rip, took all of 10 minutes). So back to the packages, if you got a Defender X, it came with a bunch of things in that package, like the black hood and if I had known, the red calipers. I would have specifically deleted that, poserville. So yes, overall I like the little highlights the chrome, really kind of more a stainless look, give to offset the black bits you get from the X package. It is a bit dirty at the moment, only had time to spray off the salt at the spray off place before I left for South Africa, which I just returned from. One of the many, many things that seem to come up if I should go elsewhere. On a fun note, get to pick up the airplane at the paint shop this morning and fly it back. I subconsciously made the scheme more like the Defender, which I just realized writing this. See what it looks like in person, vice a sheet of paper.
Thank you for the detailed response and the extra photos! very helpful.. I didn't order the X, I have a P300 on order and I added the recovery eyes to the build, not knowing that it would trigger the "bright package" to be added automatically. which consists of both the front and rear bumpers. I'm a day past changing the build and I just discovered this. not the end of the world and my P300 is coming in Silicon Silver and by the looks of yours, with chrome bumpers don't look bad on it! Blend nicely.
Anyone with silicon silver that has done stealth/satin ppf. I’m curious how it looks
‘I am planning to do this wrap on mine when it arrives. Stealth/matte ppf on the silicon silver, clear ppf on the black hood and trim. The truck is scheduled to arrive in August so it should be done shortly there after. I’ll post pics once I have it finished.
