Amazing! It actually looks like Eiger grey in these pics!

good to see you got the 11 inch screen - seems like they have started coming through with them.

Carpathian Gray all day long. It’s such a unique color and even though I see plenty of Defenders on the roads here in NYC and beyond - its rare to see one in Carpathian.

Really pleased with mine - since upgrading the SE spec matte black plastic trim and arches/panels to X-Dynamic spec gloss black, the color has been transformed - much richer and darker.

On the configurator it seems to me that the colors that provide contrast with the black roof look really great.

I'm especially drawn to the Silicon Silver vs. the Carpathian Grey.

I've been told the Carpathian is beautiful in person, that it's like a very dark charcoal color, and maybe doesn't show as much contrast to black. I've also been told it may show dirt/dust more than a lighter color.

I've been told the Silicon Silver is kind of a "champagne" silver, and can change in the sunlight, and that it's "amazing."

I've been told I wouldn't go wrong with either color.

Thinking of the Windsor tan leather seats for either color, if that helps.

Would love to hear feedback from those who have the colors, any photos very welcome, especially if anyone happens to have a photo of the two colors side by side.

Thanks for your help!
I went through the same thought process when I ordered my '22. I liked the Silver one, but I also liked the Gondwana Stone one too. So, I drove around looking at other vehicles and colors that were similar to both the Silver and Gondwana Stone. I began to realized the appeal of Silver wears off after a vehicle reaches a certain age, so I ruled this color out. I then started seeing bronze colored Kias and brown Ford Trucks and realized I didn't want to be that guy that bought a brown Defender a couple years down the road. I ended up choosing Carpathian Grey and it looks amazing. Like the Silicon Silver references in this thread, it too, will change color depending on the time of day.

Good luck with your choice.

Carpathian Grey was absolutely my first choice. However, since that wasn’t available, I got Eiger Grey and I really do love it. JLR did a great job with paint colors that seem to change with their environment.
