A snorkel for the new Defender? Yes Please.

A snorkel for the new Defender? Yes Please.
Looks like there may finally be a proper snorkel in the works from this Aussie company.
Bravo Snorkel.
Their images seem rather poorly photo-shopped. Doesn't really inspire confidence in their product.
Can't really fathom the popularity of the OEM RAI accessory but to each their own. It's rare that I encounter the Kalihari or Simpson desert so a non-watertight RAI seems rather pointless to me.
Granted, I've not challenged the 900mm wading depth and am not likely to encounter a situation where I would anytime soon but it might be nice to at least have the option. If I still lived in QLD, I'd be champing at the bit to get my hands on a proper snorkel.
I think my non-OEM DIY snorkel might be a big hit. Perfect for the wet WA climate. Maybe some Floridians might be interested too?
$1000 bucks in sweaty cash or 3 easy payments of $399.99 and I'll fit one in my driveway for anyone in the PNW area. Group buys in Tahiti or Bora Bora will need 4 Defender customers to make my trip worthwhile.
Actual footage*
*Actuality of footage may vary depending on jurisdiction and customer's level of senility.

Where I like to roll, that thing would be ripped off in a nano second. I frequently get what we refer to as "Kentucky Pinstripes" from all the branches dragging across the sides and am likely to be a limb-riser owner in the future (if I could ever convince myself that I could put them on/off fast enough when not 4 wheeling). So that thing hanging away from the body is just begging to get snapped. Ditto your comments re: a desert. With no branches, no problems.

Maybe help with splash and moving a bit faster through water below the wading depth? I’m just guessing, I don’t think I have the nuts to test the wading depth unless it was an emergency or something.

A snorkel just would take the worry away and confer some more room for fun and stupidity. I'm rather prone to the latter.

Well. Looks like New Defender Mods rejected my design and my lawyers have been instructed to stand down.
A snorkel. And what a beaut.
