( Only backside you need to cut/shave the wheelstuds a few mm)

Be sure to use an high end Brand with good fitment, studs and bolts. No vibrations if properly installed ( Torque 140Nm)

Do you know if you have to cut the wheel studs for 30mm spacers? Or what size spacers do you not have to cut the studs?

I’m on the fence about them and find them both (with & without) look great in different angles. I would only add them if they give the real world difference in width.
It does widen the vehicle. I believe by 1-1.5inches each side. That’s why it needs spacers or new wheels with more offset to make it look aggressive.

usually with spacers that large they give you new studs. you need a certain amount of thread engagement to be safe

all defender oem wheel options have the same offset beside the 22’s

41.5 for the 19 and 20’s
44.5 for the 22’s but they are wider hence the higher offset

30mm is the perfect offset to sit flush with fenders.

i am running aftermarket wheels with a 10mm offset and they sit flush to the large fenders

with a 30 spacer it will bring your net offset close to 10

I thought the 20" are 8.5" width, that's why I did recommend the 25mm spacers.

Yes, I did
No problems with it, did even 119 Mph in Germany ( Alloy Wheels with the Goodyear Adventures)
Be sure that they are good aligned against the spacers and torqued as spec,140Nm
