I want a real sunglass holder. Powerful UK as a video on repairing the one found on earlier Land Rovers. I hope that they see a market opportunity here, like the rear cargo door release.

My truck came with that too, along with a cargo net, a cargo area cover, and the collapsible storage box.. All part of the "Premium Interior Protection/Storage Pack", which I wanted primarily for the mats. Bit pricey at $710 however.
The sunshade really works well, I use it often. With the side windows down a crack it helps keep the interior cooler.
Looking on my build sheet the cup holder cover is listed with the "Comfort and Convenience Pack", another option I got just for the center console fridge. If you didn't order that package it may explain why it is missing.
My 22 X-Dynamic SE P400 came with the rubber cover, which I promptly tossed in a box with some of the other bits I don’t use, like the cargo privacy cover or whatever it’s called that extends over the cargo in back. I don’t know if the rubber cover was standard or if it came with the specific model (X-Dynamic SE) or if it was part of Comfort and Convenience or some other package I added. But it was installed in the correct place, as a cupholder cover, when I took delivery, not down underneath in the console storage. Perhaps the dealership put it there.
Agree. Also not the only thing which got degraded. Nothing is a big deal just weird and nothing to do with chips. For exmple the switches behind the steering wheel had a metal tip which got eliminated, click and go built into front seats removed, the front seat back pockets are now webbed instead of the flip out plastic (which looks sturdier). Having said that, I wouldn't want the car to be delayed because of these if there is a shortage.

The problem with a webbed vs plastic cover back seat is everyone can see what's in it, seat pockets are good out of sight/out of theft ideas pockets, now they're just 'hey look iPad here' pockets.
Land Rover is saving 36 pounds per eyeglass holder on vehicles in this price category!? Reminds me of when airlines stop giving out peanuts to save money.
